Photo Shoot Part 1 - More Than Pennies
Posted By: Pennie's - Based on true story - Sunday, February 22, 2015'And the girls in their summer clothes in the cool of the evening light.' - Bruce Springsteen
My fiancé has been in hospital now for over a month and it is hard for both of us.
Doctors hope that he might come home next week.
Handling school, work and taking care of our pets (and horses) has been a little difficult.
But I haven't forgot my important job of 2nd hand store blogger! My life has been so busy, but yesterday we (me, my goddaughter and her friend) went to our nearest city to check out some 2nd hand stores.
My usual store was closed, so the girls introduced me to some new stores! There was so much great stuff with decent prices and they were organized by color! Awesome!
We made a deal, that Helmi would choose some clothes that I could wear here.
I planned to "copy" some outfits from fashion magazines...this time it didn't really work, we had so little time.
Girls helped me and we found some nice pieces! At home girls were directing and taking pictures in our mini photo shoot and made my outfits. So here is the first part of them! Enjoy!
Orange knitwear, 3.00 euros and trousers with houndstooth pattern 2.00 euros. Trousers were quite small but I managed to fit them! Green chiffon shirt with glitter collars, 3.50 euros. I had fun!

What kind of man?

Last week Florence + The Machine had a big surprise for their fans: after announcing a new album (coming later this year) the band shared not only one but two brand new singles and music videos with their fans.
And WOW Florence + The Machine is definitely back and better than ever!
I've been a fan of the band for years now but after listening to their new single What kind of man I was speechless. If you haven't listened to it yet, you definitely have to do that as soon as possible or you will miss out a great piece of art.

The Legend Himself |
The nations favourite baldy took it upon himself to finally propose for a fan.
Lee obviously wanted a super romantic special way to propose to Joanne, so of course the only way to do that is to get Karl Pilkington to quickly reel off a half assed proposal on video.

What to wear with a Hat #1
Posted By: CelinMay - Monday, February 16, 2015
Maybe you remember one of my last posts about bad hair days and how to survive them (if not you can check it out here).
As I was talking about beanies and hats, I started wondering what you could wear best with a hat.
I guess there might be some people out there having the same problem. So I just took a look at some fashion magazines, blogs and the archive of my own blog to get some inspiration.
I have to admit, while looking through my blog's archive I realised that I'm more the "let's just wear a beanie" kind of person. I mostly wear beanies instead of hats.
Luckily, I was able to find at least 3 outfits that I would like to share with you in order to give you examples of what you can wear with a hat.
The outfit I'm showing you in today's post is perfect for colder days.
I'm wearing a long cardigan, which I like to wear when it's windy outside as it is keeping me warm and underneath the cardigan I'm wearing a simple pullover.
To give this look that certain something I added a necklace and the hat - et voilà! You have a great outfit to wear with a hat.

Function X - More Than Pennies
Posted By: Pennie's - Based on true story - Thursday, February 05, 2015"We don't have to take our clothes off." - Ella Eyre
![fashion function x](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2NDUbD4pOppiiriDjxq9uQGn5CNzW77e15C6hhQLsq7bZPy99tAQaAzfRa5DUrFNeV15GdG2cw3a-wjNQPNRKZ4BQ65A4yyBS7Uxd6Xjloqs6OndOp9O795FmYNmbPrtHtJW3xoeR6A4/s1600/tentacles.jpg)
I feel like such a horrible blogger! ;) I have bought so many pieces of clothes in the past two years that I still have material for blogging.
Even If I haven't got any time to visit my 2nd hand stores...
Here in our little town there is a very small thrift shop and I had planned to take a look in it. I'm sure there's no highly valuable things, but maybe something a bit vintage?
Because I have a large amount of clothes storage, it has been fun to pick a different outfit for each and every day to go to school.
I'm running out of trousers and skirts, have to make a change some day!
I bought a pair of jeans last week for 1.50 euros and they fit perfectly!
For some reason it's easy for me to buy jeans, I just measure them by eye and they fit like a glove!
Last summer I bought lovely cheap shorts from Tallinn, Estonia and they were the exception! I couldn't get my butt into them....I felt so fat and disappointed about my judgement skills.
Now into my Function X.
A couple of months ago I bought a fun piece of knitwear. I just don't know how to use it!
It's as big as a tent and has no shape.
It has long sleeves and very giving V-neckline. It looks normal from behind but the front is absurd. You could fit like two or three of me and it has an octopus like tentacles draped over it.
If I would be pregnant this would be exactly what I would wear then.... And it looks ridiculous with a belt - reason why I tested it was that I thought I could be more in control then.
Apparently no, I can't. So I keep on moving like an octopus attacked me...

Our Thoughts
The first thing we noticed about our Degustabox experience was the shipping, we were told every step of the way when it should arrive, it was very impressive to see the standards in practice at that early step!
When it arrived, we saw the lovely branded Degustabox packaging, well sealed and marked, a sign of quality if nothing else.
I took to it with a knife (to undo the tape of course!) and slowly opened it, revealing a paper wrap sealed with a cute little stick holding it together.
Upon opening the seal, we saw the wealth of products in the box, all stacked neatly, wrapped and put inside bubble wrap for the breakables (Magners Light, Haywards).
I took it upon myself to film the unboxing process and put it up for you to take a gander, I'll put it just below, so have a look if you wish.
For £12.99 you are getting a fantastic service.
We will most definitely be using these ingredients in future recipes, and I have already enjoyed a few of them personally, like the delicious Mornflake pots and Simplee Aloe.
It's a great way to explore the landscape of products available on the market and discover some new items you may not have tried or otherwise known about.
Everyone needs a little bit of mystery in their lives and Degustabox can help fill that gap for you with monthly surprises!
